For the last 4 or 5 days I have been meticulously working my way through a new Sharpie on canvas piece, it's a quote from Hunter S. Thompson and I have done the font in a Ralph Steadman kind of feel, it has been challenging creating caligraphy-esque lettering and ink blots with a Sharpie marker. Last night I pounded out the rest of it - worked out the details, got A LOT done overall, but by 1am I was a little spacey and couldn't decide whether or not I was ready to varnish it. The fact I couldn't decide was enough of a sign for me to take a break, I moved on to start another piece....
